“Warrior League in Las Cruces, New Mexico”

Warrior League is the first baseball league in Las Cruces, New Mexico for children with special needs. Instead of a one-day event, there is now an entire season of games for kids who otherwise couldn’t play. This video is about the Warrior League Draft Day. More than 80 children and their families gathered at New Mexico State University’s Presley Askew Field to find out their child’s team on the league, pick up their new jerseys, and meet the NMSU baseball players. Two Warrior League teams also got to play in a one-inning exhibition game before the season officially begins September 11th 2022.
